Main narrativeThis house is beautifully situated in the cantre of Rathlin overlooking Church Bay. It comprises four bedrooms and sleeps six adults comfortably. One double bedroom is downstairs. The pub is just around the corner and the souvenir shop, children's play area, post office, ferry, bird sanctuary bus and grocery shop are all a short walk along the beach. If you want to eat out, Emma's fish shop, Bruce's kitchen and the Manor house are equally convient. It only takes a ten minute walk to reach the Island's two churches.
The house is the ideal spot to view boats in Church Bay and from which to set out on any of Rathlin's beautiful walks, whether you wish to set off for a 4mile walk to the bird scantuary (there is also a bus) or take a short stroll down to see the seals at sunset. Bicycle hire is available nearby. A special permit is required to bring a car onto the island, none of your walks will be hampered by much traffic.

Directions

Two ferries go regularly to Rathlin Island. The journey can take from 30 to 45 minutes and booking is advisable. The ferries leave from the harbour and holiday makers are not permitted to take cars.

On Rathlin, Walk along the harbour in front of the Manor House and continue around the bay. Turn inland just at the pub and you will see a row of semi-dteached houses overlooking Church Bay on the road to Lough Ushet, just behind the pub. We are No 4.

Take me to the Island

Caledonian MacBrayne Ferries operates a daily ferry service to Rathlin Island from Ballycastle, all year round. The MV Canna has a capacity for six cars and 140 passengers. The crossing takes roughly 45 minutes.
