South Aran house is situated in a unique location on the Western side of Inishere (only about 400m from the pier) with absolutely amazing views of the Atlantic Ocean and unrivalled for its beautiful sunsets. The accommodation consists of four rooms all ensuite each with a double and single bed and under floor heating. All rooms are tastefully decorated and have hairdryers and Free Wireless Broadband Internet Access. Doolin Ferry operates two modern comfortable vessels which meet the highest safety standards set down by the Irish Department of the Marine. Doolin Ferry is operated by the local O’Brien family. The service was originally carried out using traditional local boats called currachs.
