Glengarriff Bamboo Park

Glengarriff Bamboo Park is the South West's newest exotic garden. It combines 30 different varieties of bamboo with 12 different varieties of palm trees. Within the park, the visitor can enjoy coastal woodland walks with unique views of Glengarriff Harbour. Also located in the bamboo park are 13 mysterious stone pillars, believed to be ancient. The exact date and their significance is unknown.

Take me to the Island

This passenger ferry leaves Blue Pool at 30 minute intervals for Garnish Island in Glengarriff.

Enjoy a trip on the Harbour Queen to the tropical gardens on Garnish Island. Visit the seal colony at Seal Island on the journey to the gardens. Three boats are operated, with a capacity of 50 passengers.
