An Dun is located in centre of Island, near church and near Synge's Cottage and Conors Fort only thirty minutes walk from new pier and thirty minutes walk from airport. Inis Meain is the middle island of the Aran Islands. Thirty minutes ferry trip from Ros a Mhil ferry port. Ferry service also from Doolin, Co Clare in summer season.
